In 1995, the lighting division was opened, in adjacent building to Herholdt's building, complete with showroom (250 sq m) and store (1000 sq m) as a separate business -- to cater for industrial and domestic lighting required in the Free State, Lesotho and Northern Cape. The competent staff of 15 total 80 years of experience in the lighting industry, run this division with professional advice and lighting layout designs.

Herholdt's Electrical Wholesalers Kimberley PTY (LTD) was opened in July 2010 due to a demand in the Electrical wholesale market in the Northern Cape; Herholdt's Electrical Wholesalers Kimberley PTY (LTD) consists of two divisions namely Herholdt's Electrical Wholesalers and Herholdt's Automation.
